As a Debt Caseworker, your typical day would involve:. Interacting with clients, interviewing them and advising them on debt and money issues. Helping ensure urgent situations are handled promptly. Managing cases. Reviewing new referrals, maintaining detailed case records etc. Advocating for clients, preparing financial statements, calculating budgets, completing forms, drafting letters, and negotiating with third parties.. Attending supervision sessions, sharing what you’ve learnt with the rest of the team and learning from other team members on their cases. What we are looking for. To be successful in the role of Debt Caseworker you will:. Have a passion for supporting people and able to empathise with clients. Be able to use IT systems such as Word and Google Docs.
