We’re looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard working individual as a Streetworks Supervisor to support the street works function which is located within the Network Management Section of the Environment Department. The teams function is the administration and implementation of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA), and the Traffic Management Act 2004. The team’s role is too effectively and proactively co-ordinate the execution of works in streets for which Wrexham Council is responsible for.. As a Streetworks Supervisor you will undertake the inspection, recording and reporting of street works, licenses, highway infrastructure and surface apparatus defects in accordance with street works legislation and associated regulations and codes of practice and other relevant highways legislation..
